8.5 x 11 full-color LOTR Gimliby *RayDillon

I did sketch cards for Lord of the Rings: Evolution and Lord of the Rings: Masterpieces (that's around 600 cards in all), so I've grown quite fond of drawing these characters. Gimli, of course, is one of my favorites ... because he has a killer beard!

And, I don't know what it is, but I just have this connection with Gimli. It's weird ...

This image was created with pencil, marker, opaque white, and white gel pens, on an 8.5" x 11" piece of brown chipboard.

Quite a good job, my friend! Indeed, his awesome beard looks incredible. I love it axe- I bet it could chop metal! Your foreshortening and perspective is quite incredible as well!
